OUR EXPERIENCE HAS TAUGHT US

After four years and over 35 performances, including shows in Atlanta, GA during the week of the 14th International Conference of Alcoholics Anonymous, the touring production of Our Experience Has Taught Us has closed. We raised over $30,000 for non-profit recovery and twelve-step service organizations and brought the history of the traditions to more than 10,000 people in recovery.

ABOUT THE PLAY

With a sweeping cast of characters that includes Bill and Lois Wilson, Dr. Bob and Anne Smith, Clarence S., Marty Mann, Cleveland Indian’s catcher Rollie Hemsley and the starlet Lillian Roth, Our Experience Has Taught Us dramatizes the experiences of the first A.A. groups in Ohio, New York and California. Powerful and entertaining, this play brings to life the often comical and sometimes tragic experiences that led to the adoption of the Twelve Traditions. Our Experience Has Taught Us is an unforgettable journey into their group histories, celebrating the precious unity of Alcoholics Anonymous.
